Details:
Inspired by an encounter with a Goddess captured in an original poem, as follows:

THE DANCER

Enchanting -
The Dancer,
with her incantations,
lucid,
and in silence
somehow
And then flares my imagination,
"Does she speak to me?"

Dreams!
Desire of misplaced and forgotten souls.
She dances, with her steps divinely guided -
entreating a response:
either knowingly, or unknowingly
Privilege!
Eminence!
The privilege of eminence
or burden.
Vicissitude of emotions
and then the song of new age prophecy:

Love thyself! Then generate love!

An incessant out of tune,
like this ancient Celtic rune:

Waiting or wanting?
To ponder is taunting!
The waiting''s I'' Th'' wanting ''cause
The wanting''s oft'' n daunting!
Deliver me...
(Hush)
Be still
(Hush)
Be still and know that...
And I hear the song that holy sang:
"the hungry were filled with good things"

It was in Toronto
after desserts and much wine;
evening and hustle -
concerts and commotion -
Amid the locomotion -
A moment of devotion with a prophet and her lyre!

Two clowns came cajoling
before an icon, there unfolding
-conversation and mystery-
with her incantations
in silence somehow.

Meagre alms,
Oh so little, were we kind? or,
Brash and brittle?

"And the hungry were filled with good things"
... so we left her there...
and were filled with very good things:
Mystery,
Memory,
Secrets,
(Hush)
And I heard the song that holy sang
But not every inspiration will ring,
when fear or doubt
or any troublesome thing -
to the languishing soul
does sorrow bring.

And then flares my imagination:
"Oh no,-
No, she doesn''t speak to me!"
So I leave her there,
with mystery and madness,

and I leave her there now
(Oh do not tell... I cannot tell)

And await her incantations,
lucid,
Yes, await her incantations
in silence,
in silence somehow.
