Details:
I feel like this album was written for travel. I wrote so much of it while I have been soul searching around the world. Below is a description of each song.

1. Everyday Is Summer - An inspiration opening track with minimal vocals. I wanted to start this album off with a feeling of summer and holiday.

2. So Long - I wrote this in between visiting Australia and then moving from Los Angeles to Washington, DC. I was finally free from this job that sucked away my soul and was starting to feel life again.

3. Scared Scared Scared - The older we get, the more pressure society puts on us. It makes us seek security out of fear and I think a lot of times it leads us to make bad decisions.

4. Life In Polaroids - The last song on the album that was recorded. I wrote this as something to motivate me to stay the course and not get manipulated by fear to live a life I don''t want.

5. What We Choose - I wrote this while I was driving across the country. I was somewhere between Aspen and Omaha when I wrote these lyrics on some crumpled up piece of paper. We choose who we are.

6. Running - Wrote this when I was in a depressed mood. I was feeling hopeless one night with no direction and decided the only way to vent would be to record this all in one sitting. I improvised the lyrics and it was complete in about 2 hours.

7. Traveling - A song about the thrill of traveling. It isn''t even about the destination but the act of leaving familiarity.

8. Free - I was in a job in California that was seriously killing my soul. A month after I left I sat down in Studio City and wrote this song. I still had the rejuvenation from Australia in my system and this song was born.

9. Kaleidoscope - I wanted to put a really electronic song in this batch. I like songs that can instantly put you in a better mood. That''s what Royksopp''s "Happy Up There" did for me. In a way I wanted my own "Happy Up There".

10. Words Can''t Describe - This song was written in LA but it''s not about LA. It''s about a place far away that lives in my mind.
