Charles (Big Daddy) Stallings, born in Columbia, S.C. and raised on a farm in Hobbsville, N.C. with ten siblings, lived the Blues every day.

The first song he learned to play was "Big Boss Man" by Jimmy Reed.

His debut release "One Night Lover" featuring the single "4x4 Woman" recently reached #1 @ XMRadio (Bluesville); the culmination of close to forty years of dedication toward reaching his goal of recording his own Blues project after migrating to Baltimore, MD.

Recently, RUF Recording Artist, Candye Kane jammed with "Big Daddy" @ the DC Blues Society After-Party; and he delivered a poweful set as the opening act for ALLIGATOR Recording Artist, Michael Burks for The Baltimore Blues Society''s 20th Anniversay Celebration.

"One Night Lover" has also received national attention with a review in "Living Blues" (#178); and "Big Daddy" was given a standing ovation for his performance on the bill with Blues pioneer "Pinetop Perkins," as a special guest of the legendary Nighthawks.

His music can now be heard globally in Italy, Argentina and Poland, and "Big Daddy" will represent The Baltimore Blues Society at the 22nd International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN in 2006.
