Steve Collom was joined with the former members of Sonic Flood, and Producer John Jaczsz (yosh) to record “God of Possibilities” “Like you Jesus” and “My Beautiful”.

Home Town:
I was born in Melbourne, Australia. My family moved to the beaches of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland when I was 10 years old. I lived there until I got married and moved to the States when I was 24.
Current Residence:
About a year after Jess and I were married we took an offer to be the music director at a church down in Jacksonville, FL. We spent a year there developing the team, but decided that we would concentrate on our traveling ministry and really grow what we believe God has called us to do. We are looking for a new place to move that is more centralized.
Marital Status:
Married to my one and only, my beautiful wife Jessica. We have been married for 3 years. Jess also loves to sing and has a great accompanying voice. I met Jess when I was on tour with Andrew Ironside in 2000. She lived with her family in Colorado. We spent the next three years having a long distance relationship and soon enough, after a thousand phone calls and a million typed words on yahoo we got married!

Favorite Movie:
Any movies that has good acting and a great storyline are worth watching. I do enjoy clean action movies and surprisingly I don’t mind watching a romantic comedy with my wife. No favorites.

Years Singing:
From the age of 12 I remember writing my first song and singing it to friends and family. I Knew I wanted to sing and not just play guitar at about 15, when I realized that it meant more to people when I played and sung not just played an instrumental. I have been going to vocal classes and choir ever since then.

(In order of professionalism) Guitar, Bass, Trumpet, Drums, Saxophone, Piano, Clarinet, Flute, Trombone, violin and banjo.
Moment you knew being an entertainer was your calling:
The earliest I can remember entertaining anyone musically was when I was about 5-7 years of age. Our Parents would put on a Saturday night concert, only to the family of course, and we would all take it in turns playing our songs that we had been practicing all week. When I was about 21 I had the chance to play at Hillsong in Sydney and it was then that I realized that God really did have a big plan for me to be not only entertaining but sharing and ministering to millions of people world wide, through my songs and shows.
How you came to know Christ:
I was raised in a Christian family with strong convictions. I basically grew up knowing what was right and what was wrong but it wasn’t until I was faced with the opportunity to try drugs and start drinking at the age of 16 that I realized that I had a choice to make, either hang out with these guys and go down that path or choose to hang with a different crowd. I chose to go out and make some new friends and head down the path that my parents had taught me. My relationship with my Savior has been growing stronger ever since then.

Non Denominational, I believe in the living word, the Bible. Every single word that it says is awe inspired by God
