The Sleeping Season is an electro-pop project that I began in late 2004. Much of the music I worked on prior to this point was ethereal, darkwave, and minimalist electro-acoustic music, but I decided I wanted to go in a more synthpop-like direction for a while. “Sugary Nothings” is my first album under The Sleeping Season and features twelve songs that combine synths and found sounds with instruments such as the glockenspiel, toy piano, and tin whistle.
