As Hip-Hop began to emerge from the undergound, and show it''s face to the entire world, it was then when SUBCONSCIOUS decided he wanted to be a part of the movement. He grew up listening to Big Daddy Kane, Kool G Rap, Juice Crew, Grandmaster Flash, Special Ed, Souls Of Mischeif, Eric B and Rakim, just to name a few. These were the first artists that sparked inspiration in the heart of SUBCONSCIOUS.
SUBCONSCIOUS earned his respect by battling kids just for fun, when he was told countless times that he needed to put out an album. It was the mid-90''s when SUBCONSCIOUS began writing, but it wasn''t until the later 90''s when he started recording. He would record and be featured on mix cd''s, but it wasn''t until 2003 when he and his group put out their first promo cd.
