Here is how Tom Henninger, who wrote the song, describes this uplifting, fun recording: “Money Runs The World is the only straight reggae song I wrote for the Mods. It’s a smart aleck jab at the marketing to American society. How advertising, money and our whole lives and future have been a statistical equation in an on-going marketing study. Right up until the end of our lives, we are the target market for some or many companies. I just thought I’d express it in a song."
Long-time U.S. Mods members David Kraus, Bruce Warren and Mike Clements join Tom in the session that produced this memorable tune.
