Kim Meredith has been creatively writing for over twenty years. Short stories and poetry were always her favorite. While evolving as a writer, she also learned how to play the acoustic guitar. These combined skills allowed the opportunity for her two passions to merge. In her younger years, she was influenced by many of the greats like James Taylor, Neil Diamond, Billy Joel, AC/DC, Foreigner and The Cars.
Since she began recording only a few short years ago, both her style and sound has changed as the inevitable result of her growth as an artist. While her earlier sound was more heavy and alternative, she finds herself now settling into a more country or folk sounding place. In being true to herself and her music, Kim will openly continue to express herself without conforming to any genre restrictions. Her music is a direct expression of her heart and soul, and therefore has no boundaries.
