The second album from British artist Solar Bud, “Childhood''s End” continues the theme of atmospheric, eclectic psychedelic dance and chillout music.
The first three tracks on the album lull the listener into a deep, contemplative mode, with hypnotic yet surprising sci-tec sounds fused with folk guitar and searing melodies.
The second half of the album takes it up a level in typical Solar Bud style, beginning with a classic psychedelic trance sound, through two dancefloor stompers with spacey yet crunchy techno rhythms and fat 303 lines to a full-on yet beautifully dark and moody 160bpm forest track, perfect for those intense, meditative darkest hours just before the dawn.
“Childhood''s End” is another Solar Bud album of distinctive, thoughtful tracks, each with their own character and story, a worthy successor to his debut album “Lightning Harvest”.
