Details:
Siobhan, who celebrated her 17th Birthday part way through recording "Lilium", started classical voice lessons at the age of 9 and took up the harp 2 years ago. Born in Wales with Welsh and Irish heritage, it''s no wonder Siobhan has inherited a love of music and embraced her Celtic background! Siobhan is a student at Adelaide University''s Elder Conservatorium of Music, studying Classical Voice.

The original plans for this album were shelved when Siobhan and her parents had to make an unexpected trip back to Wales in July for the funeral of Siobhan''s Taid (Grandfather in Welsh) who passed away suddenly. However, thanks to the enormous generosity of the many people who donated to Siobhan''s Album Fund, and the amazing efforts of a fantastic team of professionals, Siobhan was able to go ahead with the album after all! The talented Jean-Christophe Xerri has worked his magic to capture these beautiful acoustic songs which have been recorded in an intimate concert style setting. The Celtic pieces were recorded at Chapel Lane Studio with Siobhan accompanying herself on her Tim Guster 36 string Celtic Harp. The Classical pieces were recorded at the University of Adelaide''s "Hartley Concert Room" with Malcolm Day on the Steinway Grand Piano. The bonus track on the CD is a jazz piece "It''s Only a Paper Moon" which was recorded at Chapel Lane Studio with Malcolm on a Yamaha C7 Grand Piano.
