HOWARD HILL began his concert piano career at the tender age of four, often as a prodigy representing the United States Council for the Arts. He has appeared on stage and radio throughout the world, as well as on over 3000 local, regional, national and international television broadcasts. This global exposure lead to much success while producing and starring in live shows for some of the nation''s top corporations and charities including Mobil Oil, AT&T, American Express, American Cancer Society, NuSkin and Make-A-Wish Foundation of America - just to name a few. He has produced and orchestrated shows that were honored with both a GLADD Media Award and an Ovation Award nomination. In addition to his musical career, Howard gained international recognition as a successful model for the world-renowned Elite Models and Talent Agency - New York (John Casablanca) and Remington Models - Florida.
Howard is currently under contract with Prodigy Records, and was formerly affiliated with Word Records (a division of ABC) and CBS/Columbia Records. With numerous recordings and publishing projects released, he is lauded as one of the finest American and International musicians of our time. Howard’s versatility in musical styles, combined with technical virtuosity, has won the respect and admiration of audiences and artists of all ages. This acclaim has prompted invitations to the White House for several Presidential Command Performances.
Impressed by the success of Howard’s recordings and concert appearances, the internationally acclaimed Bösendorfer Piano Company approached Howard with the opportunity to sign as a Bösendorfer artist. As representatives of the “Rolls-Royce” of pianos, these Bösendorfer artists are among the finest pianists worldwide, including in their ranks such renowned musicians as Anton Rubenstein, Leonard Bernstein, Johannes Brahms and Franz Listz. Howard joined this elite group in 1984, becoming the youngest Bösendorfer artist to date. This was not only a thrill, but also a tremendous privilege. Despite the many honors bestowed upon him, including a Grammy Award nomination, and winning the Best Instrumental Performance award from the International Model and Talent Academy, his audiences are continually captivated by his genuine warmth and charm.
Howard is currently starring in his latest project entitled “Piano Mystique.” In this breathtaking musical extravaganza, he covers musical genres both old and new, energizing them with his own unique arrangements. He also serves as the executive producer of this live stage performance which includes a variety of guest performers and premiers several of his recently completed original piano compositions. With a cast of over thirty-five of the nation’s finest dancers, singers and instrumentalists joining him on stage, this show has proven to be an exciting and dynamic musical experience that will long be remembered.
Howard''s latest recording, under the same name of his stage show, “Piano Mystique,” features a fully orchestrated tribute to classic television theme songs, Hollywood and Broadway hits, as well as many of Howard’s all-time favorites, such as Chariots of Fire. Howard is accompanied on this recording by members of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.
