With Peace In Fear Lou Champagne explores the state of the environment and the terrorist paranoia being hyperbolized by U.S. policy and rhetoric since 9/11. Recorded in his studio the song''s heavy groove is supported by Lou''s chunky guitar riff, rap vocal style and blistering lead breaks. Lou also played the drums on this track. Lou''s musical career began in the mid 80''s where he was part of the TO club scene and received airplay on University Campus Radio across Canada as the Lou Champagne System or LCS. Lou occasionally plays live with Wild Abandon (Russ Watson and Tony Wachnuik) and The Scientists (Brian Docherty and Tony Wachnuik) in the Hamilton area.
LCS is also popular in Europe, particularly Germany. With this resurgence of interest in Lou''s music, sales of his ''No Visible Means (Pterodactyl Records # PR001-01) vinyl LP have started overseas again thanks to some devoted fans and the inclusion of his song Spectral Informer in the German compilation of popular 80s indie synth bands ''Reminiscent'' (Genetic Music # GEN010) released in January 2004.
