The Austrian band Forever Blind was founded in April 2007 by Michael Auinger (Vocals, Guitars), Thomas Riegler (Guitars) and Clemens Gaisbauer (Drums). Short after that Simon Berger (Keyboard) and Walter Paul Zugsberger (Bass) completed the band. In October 2010, the band released their first album “Where the Sun Revives”, which is a concept album containing 11 songs.
The Band creates Melodic Death Metal mixed with classical influences. Progressive staccato guitar riffs meet atmospheric keyboard sounds, rounded up by aggressive vocals and dynamic mid-tempo refrains. Although Forever Blind sees itself rooted in the Gothenburg Melodic Death Metal, the band tries to stay innovative and seek for new sound patterns.
Moreover Forever Blind´s intention is to communicate socially critical messages within its lyrics. Topic of many verses is the disturbing behavior of human beings in several socially or environmentally important issues.
