‘Vicissitudes’ (total timing is 79’23) is my second compilation of 8 tracks, which was electronically created for violin, harmonic voices, nay, various synthesizers, strings, guitars, pianos, bass, drums & percussion. It was inspired by the ups and downs we experience in our lives as a result of circumstances and changes in our lives.
The synthesis of melodic sounds carries emotions that let you cross a stream of memories, each like a jeweled moment. Certain melodies open up forgotten memories, faces, smells or scenes of a place, a taste or color, a familiar person now coming into view. Allow them to enter and make ephemeral impressions as they weave together to express a sense of longing and loving that is especially nurturing. The tone is generally intimate and awakens feelings of contentedness. I hope it produces a reassuring sensation and awakens a sense of new opportunities for you.
Just like my first album, ‘Effulgence’ the tracks on this album offers serenity and is conducive to meditation, relaxation, creative imagery and play while you do your yoga type exercises or simply as background music to create a pleasant mood.
