This song was written and recorded in the early 1990''s. I sent a copy to the John Lennon Song writing contest, but did not win and didn''t even hear anything more about it.
I played it for a few friends at work and they thought it was funny that I was trying to "RAP."
The curious thing is that, although the song is almost twenty years old, NOTHING HAS CHANGED, and ALMOST NOTHING HAS GOTTEN BETTER. How come we, as a nation, are repeating the same types of mistakes we made twenty years ago?
If anything, we as a people and as a nation, are worse off economically, intellectually, physically, and by almost any statistical measure of quality of life than we were twenty years ago. We are no longer "The GREATEST COUNTRY ON EARTH."
AFTER 50 years of experimenting with Republican economic philosophy, we can clearly see that the Republican economic model is WRONG. It is INACCURATE and does NOT describe the way the economy works.
This is just stupid. "I WANT TO KNOW WHY THIS IS GOING ON?"
