Shadow was one of the founding members in the Detroit Hip Hop scene, As the co-founder and co-lead vocalist of Buddha Fulla Rymez, Shadow has proven his skills as a Songwriter, Rapper and Vocalist. Shadow has had over 50 Detroit Music Award nominations since 2000 as part of Buddha as well as 15 personal nominations, including Urban/Funk Vocalist, Hip Hop MC, Urban/Funk Songwriter, and Urban/Funk Musician. In addition, Buddha Fulla Rymez captured the award for Outstanding Hip Hop Artist/Group in 2005.
Shadow has recorded three full-length albums with Buddha and attracted interest of all major labels. In addition, Shadow is a seasoned performer and knows how to entertain a crowd!
Shadow has made a huge impact on Detroit urban music by mixing such styles R & B, Rock, and Hip Hop. He has forged a style all his own, setting him apart from other Detroit artists. This has led him to his current solo project.
