Poorsport is a rock and roll band. Specifically, Poorsport is a "Suburban Punk Band" formed on the outskirts of Seattle in June 2002.
"Oh boy, another Seattle band. Are they Grunge?"
One fan describes them as "the unholy offspring of Weezer and NoFx, only not exactly." Which is just about as good as anything we could come up with. Let''s just say that fans of Orange County Hard Core and early 70s punk will be easy converts, but the band''s sonic diversity will appeal to a wider audience as well. So: "no, I wouldn''t say that Poorsport bears a strong sonic resemblance to Grunge."
