PURPOSE is a musical group compiled of different genres to create a unique and fresh sound in the gospel and secular arena. PURPOSE which consists of four vocalists: Lamont Williams, Adrian Grant, Jason Remsey, Nathaniel Deas and band members Eric Chandler and Darrell Williams, Jr. PURPOSE has been together for six years performing as a local band from Summerville/Charleston, S.C.
Forming from a community choir, they all came to the group with special talents and abilities to create and write their own songs, photography, music, and choreography. They have only grown stronger by sticking together. They all are members and serve the Lord faithfully at their home church, Christ Temple of Summerville.
They have previously appeared on local news Channels 4, 5 and 10 within South Carolina and recently appeared and competed in the finals on national television stations Inspirational Networks (INSP) and Trinity Broadcasting Network (TBN). They’ve completed mini-tours across the southeastern coast and are currently in the studio working on their FIRST album to be released in fall 2006.
