The idea for Starlight Tavern was heavily influenced by a man named Dan Reno. He began recording short skits about two party-space travelers named Doobie and Wishbone. In between the skits, contemporary music spun making it like an awesome mix tape with an original story line weaving throughout. The end of tape 7, titled Suspended Animation, left Doobie and Wishbone in an auto-pilot state while a malicious robot was trapped in a blackhole.
Since, there was no real resolution to the series, Matt Reno wanted to continue on with the story. Partnering with Brian Threlkeld and Randy Reed, the way to achieve this became clear. Cosmic America became the vehicle to continue the series.
In 2011, the second volume of the Planet Of The Pyramids Trilogy will surface.
