Antonio “Tonio” Echols was born on June 22 in Chicago, Illinois. He was raised on the Southside (Englewood) of Chicago. He came from humble beginnings and he truly never meets a stranger. Tonio’s former interest is in real estate & he has owned and operated a restaurant and a rim shop. Those interests now take a back seat to his first love.
Tonio is not only an artist but comes to the entertainment industry as a business man. With adding 424 Entertainment LLC to his arsenal, parent of 424 records LLC, he is currently establishing with his wife a bakery and café in the South Loop of Chicago IL. Chi Bakery & Café located at 2132 S. Michigan Ave Chicago IL, 60616.
Music has always been his passion. Tonio brings to his audience a newfound energy, with relatable style. Tonio has been rapping since the early age of 10. Since then, he has done performances in Chicago, Indiana, and Texas. Tonio brings real life moments to his music and captures his audience in his stories. Tonio’s thirst for financial independence led him to Chicago ‘s mean city streets of gang affiliations, & drug dealings that calculated in the upper hundred thousands… possibly millions!
What most would consider a “stumbling block” has been Tonio’s “stepping stone”. During his run in with the law he gained a powerful ally, Ronald Isley.
