Noxshi drench forth vintage rock tones punctuated by the spiraling sounds of the infinite. Structured songs give way to ambient improvisation supported throughout by hypnotic driving grooves.
The central axis of singer Yoriyos Adamos and guitarist Hallam Kite formed the band in London in 2008. They recruit auxiliary musicians along with multi-media artists and dancers to produce arresting live performances and intimate recorded work.
‘The Way They Lush’ was recorded by the band in their Highbury studio, mixed with David Tickle (Prince, Peter Gabriel) and mastered by Howie Weinberg (Nirvana, Red Hot Chili Peppers). An album in the tradition of the medium ‘The Way They Lush’ demonstrates ambition delivered with skill. Heavy in both riffs and atmosphere the album is built of fragments of rock narratives drawn on influences from The Beatles to Fantomas.
