Every morning, I have to perform the duties involving the job I am doing. I turn on my zombie autopilot, go to work and do whatever I have to do for the day. The creative freedom is not easily attainable, and that is the beauty of it. The secret is about trying to retain your true self and all your emotional values while trapped within the bullshit called “the society.” I enter the corporate building with a smile, a smile that makes me feel different from everyone else. I am not a part of the corporate ladder, I am somewhere at the bottom and do not intend to climb.
Manhattan-life-style-stereotype is absurd; a big wealth-gathering game swelling into nothingness. Money doesn’t buy things like emotions, personality, mental health and ability to have a spirit that resists submergence into collective madness of cultural stereotypes. I make no particular statement about art. It is all about simple raw emotions, feelings like passion, sublime, beauty and chemistry. Take all those ingredients and pack it in the “box”…and voila, you have just created something that might be called a piece. After all, that “piece” that you nurture from inside is everything that matters at the end (at least for myself). That little substance that I get from time to time is like an infinite loop of energy, some kind of sub-atomic particle constantly vibrating, firing and overpowering with its presence. It is situated somewhere out of my head, at the very center of the Universe. You are the center of the Universe, so is he and she. It is everywhere, all around, god-like, indestructible. It’s inside, but not really inside…get it? I am sharing my piece(s) with you. Existence is a very generous entity that enables mutual existence of every single being all at once.
Yeah, being able to freely create music is a really marvelous thing to do, but unfortunately I have to make for my own food and that could be from time to time restraining and tiring.
