I grew up listening to country, bluegrass, pop, rock and roll and gospel and was influenced by all types and styles of music but what I tend to lean towards the most is the Outlaw Country/Rock feel. As you can tell by the songs on the album I mix it all up even on this album. There is a nice slow get your arms around your lover and dance song and even a Tango, now thats something new to country radio.
I write funny songs and true to life songs and some up in your face songs that just tell it the way it is. The rhythm of the album will keep you listening along with the words as each song tells a story. The kids love to listen, a waitress friend from Murfreesboro Tn. played the album the first time in the car going home after picking up her kids. When they got home the kids told mommy to take Cd in the house and play it. She told me she had to take it with her every place they go and take it back in the house so they can listen to it they listen all the time. That is so sweet.
Several other people tell me they put the CD in their car stereo and haven''t taken it out and thats been several months they let it play over and over again.
