- David & Santi Lluch form HC. Santi Lluch plays with the band Bates’ Motel as a guitar player and occasional vocalist & David Lluch who is only 15 years of age starts to play the double bass. They persuade to Marc Illas (Bates’ Motel drummer too) to do only one gig. In September 1st they do their first gig for free (as for them as for the audience) in L’Antic bar from Blanes as Hellbillies, then will change the name to Hellbilly Club definitively later. A set list with 90% of covers and some own songs such as “The Cowboy from Hell” they will record in 2002 in their second album “Hell-o”

- After the refuses of Marc Illas to stay joined to HC, Santi & David persuade him again to play another show in the same bar. After this gig, Marc gets ‘persuaded’ and will stay in the band

- They record their first demo.

- They give the demo to Lauren Jordán from Inoportunos (later, Gatos Locos guitar player) that seems to be interested for them and encourage them to record an album

- They record their first album Hypnotic Ultra Bizarre Circus with the german label Crazy Love Records & produced by Lauren Jordán.

- Marc Illas announces that leaves HC to take some time off but will play ocasionally till 2004. Come to the band innumerable drummers that in general don’t deserve mention for different reasons. Except David Raya (ex Hellmaniacs) that was in the band a short period of time till his unexpected move to New York at the end of 2001.

- They record their second album Hell-o with Crazy Love Records once again & produced by Santi, David & Lauren Jordán with Marc Illas as drummer (they get very satisfied with the result of recording & the studio)

- Rafa Barraquero joins the band as a drummer. They record “Traitors go to hell” video clip, almost all filmed in the Palafolls theatre (two of devil girls are Santi & David’s girlfriends)

- They do a tour for Spain with one of their idols Tim Polecat from The Polecats (as support band as Tim’s band)

- They record Black Leather Danger. Their friend Paul Roman (The Quakes) collaborates in the song 50 Guns & 100 Men (he writes the words and sings background vocals). Santi & David form Atomic Leopards parallelly.

- They record their fourth album No More Parasites (the title shows their discomfort generated for some events during these days, that have relation with the album recording and similar things. Starts a new age) produced by Santi & David. They meet their great friend Martin Degville from the famous band Sigue Sigue Sputnik (David & Santi joined during a short time with Martin) and he came to record the famous hit 21st Century Boy. They have a great friendship from this time. They go out from Spain for the first time. Tour by Germany . Santi and Martin Degville form Sci-fi Superstars with sporadic collaborations of David on stage and some gigs as Sigue Sigue Sputnik.

- Rafa Barraquero announces that he leaves the band. They record a mini album called Zombie Faces with Raucous Records, as a tribute to the old school psychobilly. Comes David Raya again after staying in USA . Tour by UK (very deranged & disappointed for the terrible promoter’s treatment & the hostility of some residents of some villages from there. There’s a song of this, of course :)

- Come back to the studio to record another album. One year recording approximately. Santi & David join Los Rebeldes, the famous spanish band leaded for their great friend Carlos Segarra.

- Shady Customers is released.
