He payed the boxmaster 110 merks for his upset, 20 merks for the Maiden Hospital, and the said Robert Alexander in token that he consents and approves of the Incorporations Act anent the Maiden Hospital, had subscribed the double of this act in the Scroll Book.—E. Little is known about this maker, but the fact of his name appearing regularly till the year 1718 in these records makes it apparent he was at that date located in Edinburgh.
