Details:
In my 37 years as a guitarist, I''ve played just about every style of music imaginable, and its all still tremendously fascinating to me.

''String Theory'' is an amalgam of some of the styles I''ve tried to cop over the years. The songs were not written to exemplify any particular style. I basically tried to throw a few grooves into a blender and see what comes out. To un-Americanize my style would not be true to myself, so there is always that influence in all my tunes, but each song on this album has a tinge of something else. ''Vacation Song'' is basically a soca beat with cross groove I created. Pensia is almost like a tango, but different. African Dub is a blend of African grooves I''ve heard, but still sounds like the Allman Brothers! Blues for Crane Creek is a standard jazz groove, and Funky Jam is exactly that.

I wrote ''Fuzak 1.0'' specifically for WFIT, a local smooth jazz station. Listening to that station one afternoon, I thought to myself: "Well, I could write about 20 of those songs in an hour". Ok, so I wrote one.

Kara and Goodbye are songs that are very special to me. I say that they were ''given'' to me. They flowed through me. This is proof of what I like to say: "Its impossible to be a musician and not believe in God." These two songs were written for people whom I love more than myself, and I hope that comes through when you listen to them. I did not write them, but they flowed through me to all of you. I am just a conduit.

Enjoy!
