BIO: JOSEPH "BLAQ STEEL" FRAZIER
Joseph Frazier was born October 29, 1978 in Biloxi, Mississippi. The product of a broken home, Joseph and his twin brother, were raised by their mother in the harsh projects of Biloxi, (referred to as Big Body B-Town). After
dropping out of high school, his love for money brought him to the streets. Two felonies and some prison time later, Joseph realized that it was time to make a change for the better. After watching his twin brother and childhood friend Baby Slimm try the rap game, Blaq realized what he was destined to do.
In 1998 Blaq and his twin brother Solo Capone signed with 2-T Entertainment. Shortly after signing, his brother was incarcerated. In 1999 Blaq released a solo album, entitled "Death B4 Dishonor". In 2001 Blaq signed with K-9 Records and joined the group 4:30. They released "4:30 The Album". In 2003, Blaq was reunited with Cedamac aka Big Sipp (formerly co-owner of 2-T Entertainment) C.E.O. of the newly formed Big Sipp Records.
This young man has struggled through hard times, fell and rose again. Easily considered one of the greatest TRUE MC''s the Dirty South has ever heard, Blaq''s flow is often compared to a cross with Jay-Z and Scarface. Blaq Steel''s new album "The World Is A Customer" has the promise of being one of the greatest albums of 2004.
