Blindfold Gemini is a labor of love. I''ve been working on this album, on and off, for about five years. It''s got a fairly quiet feel overall, with an acoustic guitar and some nice vocal harmonies tying the whole thing together.
I originally started recording so I would have something to play along with, but then it just kind of took off. I found that I enjoyed the process of recording, enjoyed the process of writing songs, and, perhaps most importantly, enjoyed listening to what I had recorded.
Up to now, I''ve shared my music only with family and friends. I''ve never played live in front of people, since I am by nature a shy person, but my wife suggested that I release an album of my stuff on the web, and I figured I might as well give it a shot.
These are the best songs I''ve recorded over the last few years--check out "doin'' the best that i can," "your eyes are a deeper green," "just the way i am," "sitting on the front porch," and "henbean soup." I hope you like them.
