Details:
"In A time of universal deceit,
telling the TRUTH is a revolutionary act."
--George Orwell

The three members of the Spokane, WA. based Blue Truth: Mark McEnderfer-Drums, Vocals, Dave Reed-Bass, Vocals and Bill Bergin-Guitars, Vocals, collectively have more than 75 years of playing experience, and that knowledge shines through on their eclectic debut CD "Prozac In The Park."

Coming from extremely diverse musical backgrounds, Mark, Dave and Bill began playing together in October of 2000, as a blues and classic rock cover band "Disenfranchised"

This unlikely trio''s original music has evolved to include shades of jazz (and organ) as on "Disillusioned Blues."- (a tribute to the disenfranchised) and folk as on "Right Wing Nadine, " which takes a sarcastic stab at the religious right (neither) by drawing a parallel to a beautiful witch.

The psychedelic 60''s are brought back to life on the Grateful Dead-like "Prozac..., " the Santana-like "Remember Me, " and the Moody Blues-like "Chained To Reality."

The Blues run smack into Grunge, Reggae and Funk on the irreverent "Jamaican Spaceship, " and the vanity mocking rocker "Hipster."

The hilarious "Match Made In Heaven, " originally titled, Ron and Nancy, is dedicated to all scum bag politicians and their devoted wives.

All of this is held together by the straight ahead rocking blues of "Hourglass" "In Between" and "Heavy Shoes."

A must for all fans of alternative music.
