Nine Wassies from Bainne was formed in Dublin, Ireland in late 1992 by guitarist/composer Giordai Ua Laoghaire (p: Gerdie Oh Lairagh). Sometime in the next period Bassist Enda Doyle and ex Golden Horde Drummer Peter O"Kennedy joined him and helped mould ''The Wassies'' into a hard rockin'' trio, whose first period of gigs found them sharing the stage with Fatima Mansions/The Last Poets/Interference/Iarla Ó Lionáhttps://www.tradebit.compping into a regular work schedule, they performed frequently in Whelans and beyond including gigs in Cork, Cóbh, Galway, Limerick and New York In ''94 Bassist Eddie lee replaced Doyle and in ''96 singer David Murray joined the fray and they entered the studio with Engineer/Producer Aiden Foley and created the CD that you''re about to purchase......perhaps...
