The classy and distinctive gospel artist of all times, has graced many with their anointed angelic voices. The BOR-RENZ'' SISTAZ'' are natives of Tulsa, Oklahoma where they''ve played a major role as being the "pastor''s children" and siblings to four brothers. Yolanda, Jacquelyn, Larita and Lakeesha Borens are use to making noise with anything.
Some do not know about turning paint buckets upside down to create drum beats, using pie pans as tambourines and everyone marching down the street singing, dancing and clapping their hands.
They knew it was very important to deliver God''s word through song, but it was a must that their souls be right before ministering to the lost, so they began to surrender one by one to Christ. Working hard to stay a float in the church work and social living they have embraced the music industry with lots of love and their bright personalities. They grew up listening to Witness, The Clark Sisters, Shirley Caesar, Commissioned, Mississippi Mass Choir, Truthettes, The Pace Sisters, Reverend James Cleveland, Andrea Crouch, Walter Hawkins, Tramaine Hawkins and others, but solely inspired by God.
The BOR-RENZ'' SISTAZ'' started out playing various musical instruments from Elementary School to College bands. Later they participated in several choirs, in which landed them in lead vocalist positions throughout the United States, singing strictly gospel music to proclaim God''s word. They were also featured in "The Black Nativity" play written by Willie Minor. They have participated in talent shows, conferences, and as backup singers for several wonderful gospel artist like Dorinda Clark-Cole, Rance Allen, Reverend Timothy Wright, Dr. Venard Johnson and Vanessa Bell-Armstrong.
They have performed in many places some people would dare not to travel and sing, but realized that a soul is what God wants. This is all about kingdom work. God has given them the ability to write their own music for several years. Their voices mesmerize and touch so many people through their day-to-day living. The style of music is like no ordinary traditional gospel music. It adds a little twist, flava and sizzle to the lyrics of "I Won''t Give Up" and "You Never Have To Be Alone".
Their founding scripture that holds this group together is "For many are called, but few are chosen. Matt 22:14".
