He also performed National Anthem at the Los Angeles Staples Center for the 2002 NHL Stanley Cup Quarterfinal broadcast throughout North America Broadcast by ESPN. He also was awarded the 2002 Bonnie Raitt Endowed Scholarship and has performed in the Los Angeles Jazz Festival for the past three years.
