It is amazing how God works......Many decades ago, Mark''s family and Maria''s family (Andy''s wife) became close friends and were neighbors in a Southern Italian immigrant section of a local city. During that span, both Mark and his wife Sheila as well as Andy and Maria responded individually to the call of the Gospel on their lives. Over a year ago, Providence brought Andy and Maria to the local church where Mark serves on the worship team and functions as a caregroup leader. The Lord impressed upon their hearts the concept of this album which celebrates romance in the context of Christian marriage which is rooted in worship of the Savior. Thus, the resultant fruit of their labor is Ballads of Love. The idioms of classical music, jazz and pop are clearly evident in the twelve selections on this CD. There are two spirit songs on this album which were composed by Mark and Andy as inspired by the Holy Spirit. The other tunes are comprised of standard ballads, two contemporary worship numbers and three classic hymns. Andy and Mark attribute all the glory to the triune God.
Andy is an anointed Prophet/Minstrel who is used of God to prophetically minister to God''s people. As he worships the Lord with his saxophone, the song of the Lord is released, and people are set free, healed emotionally, and delivered. The pure melody of God is revealed from this humble vessel. Andy ministers the love of God to His people through his instrument. He has frequently played with Kent Henry, and has recently joined Don Potter at a Worship Conference in Detroit. Andy has played on numerous albums, and is currently on his fourth personal album.
Andy has taught on how to play in the spirit and prophecy on your instrument. His vision is to help raise up other musicians to their full potential in the spirit realm. He has toured with his church''s praise and worship band in Australia and New Zealand as well as many parts of the USA.
