Kalmia started back in 2001 when Larry Holton and Casey Kranz started jamming together in Larry''s basemeent in Maryland. Over time they started churning out songs that were well received by their peers. After a few years, and a few lineup changes, Tyler McDonough entered the picture. With his jazz/classic rock drumming added to the mix, they were one step closer to sublime. Only in September of 2006 was that goal attained... with the addition of Brian Triplett on lead guitar! Since that September Kalmia''s chemistry has changed for the better and there is no turning back for them now...
