Joshua Klipp is a hot, talented, and vibrant singer and dancer bursting his way onto the music scene and beyond. The release of his 2006 EP, “Patience”, contained the ground breaking track, “Little Girl”, featured on The Tyra Banks Show, and Showtime’s “The L Word”, Season 4.
A Midwest transplant, Joshua lives in Northern California, where he writes and records music with his co-writer, Kristopher Cloud (Javier (Columbia), Aundrea of Danity Kane). Joshua’s tracks feature Bay Area talents such as famed hip hopper Katastrophe (“Pick Up the Mic”) and upcoming hip hop rocker, Hollywood.
Joshua was born on an elevator going up. After many years lingering in the alternately freezing or baking tundra of the midwest, cut to the present day where you''ll find him living in a Victorian flat with his girlfriend and his puppy, and/or working in an office/recording studio/or dance studio(take your pick)
Joshua loves music, and has been singing since the day he popped out. His father directed gospel choirs, so the first strains to hit his infant ears were Walter Hawkins and Andrae Crouch. The LPs spinning on his parents turntable were Earth Wind and Fire, Aretha Franklin''s *Spirit in the Dark*, Dionne Warwick, and the 5th Dimension.
As a youngster, he learned about the Beatles, and made *music videos* to "Eight Days a Week" and "Kansas City." In high school he starred in the school''s musicals, and hated every moment of it. So he ran away to college and fronted a hotel bar cover band. Yeah...that was so much better...
Later on Joshua started a jazz band, the Klipptones, and gigged all about town with his favorite buddies. The Klipptones reunited for this album, and the fruits of their labor are as beautiful as their unending friendships.
