ROCK: 70''s Rock, ROCK: Acoustic
Details:
"Rust from Rain" is the second effort from NY Singer/Songwriter Jeffry Braun. Produced by Jean Christophe Santalis, Jeffry Braun and sometimes Marc Teamaker. "Rust" features a mix of retro rock, alternative ballads and acoustic pop.
Jeff''s voice and harmony is as strong as ever -- with a sense of "attitude" on the harder tracks, some rasp on the soul stuff and a breath of honesty on the ballads. The talented core of musicians returns: with Buffalo-style bass from Jonathan Hughes and steady beats of Anthony Realbuto. Jeff, producers Jean Christophe and Marc Teamaker, as well as Jason Braun (Jeff''s bro) handle a range of guitar work -- from dirty NY Strat, to sweet acoustic melodies, to catchy 70s tele hooks. The wurlitzer 200 also plays a prominent role while Hammond, horns and mellotron string samples add texture and color.
For Rock check out "Chambers," upbeat fun try "Follow My Heart" and if you are at home with singer/songwriter tunes check out "Reason Why," "Favorite Things" or "What the Heart Wants."
