Phisonica is the collective creation of modern mystic Ankuphara and Eric Dez. The two met in South Florida in ''99 at a gathering. They quickly discovered shared interests in metaphysics, healing, social awareness and of course music. They began sharing philosophies and music demos (which both conveniently had with them). Ank at the time was doing ethereal drum and bass while Eric was into Miami tribal/tech house. They respected each others music but weren''t particularly into the one another''s genres.
Shortly after this time Ank was traveling, teaching, studying and healing throughout the Americas with different shamans and Gurus. Eric was in miami working on music and producing live events for big corporate clients. When Ank was in town Eric noticed how spiritually advanced Ank was becoming and wanted to learn more about what he was learning and teaching. The information was intense and and a little overwhelming. Eric, at the time was well read in the matters of global conspiracy & world religions, and also was knowledgable about how sound and electricity work. Ironically this seemingly unrelated knowledge is exactly what allowed eric to understand what ank was sharing very quickly.
They remained friends and shared knowledge for the following years, each pursuing and advancing their skills and knowledge in metaphysics, sacred geometry, music, art, video, vibrational healing, social awareness, sustainable living, psionics, earth changes and quantum physics.
Fast forward six years, Ank returns to Miami from Central America. Eric is playing bass in an electronic pop act. Eric and Ank start jamming every couples days using all sorts of stuff; laptops, bass ,guitar, doumbeks, djembes, didgerdoos, flutes, keyboards, virtual synths/drum machines and other unknown instruments Ank brought back from his travels. The music was so inspiring that it put them in a trance state whenever they played it. They knew they were evoking spirit because they felt her healing energy and guidance, the musical spheres. PHIsonica was born from these sessions.
In addition to all that, they both share passion for designing visuals with video, stills and motion graphics. They shoot,edit and design all the video footage that is incorporated into PHIsonica''s live show and music videos.
