Rebecca Lowe was born a sixth generation Texan in Dallas on San Jacinto Day. At age 6, she started singing along to Disney movies, and became influenced by all types of music ranging from Herb Alpert and Roger Miller to Julie Andrews and The Carpenters. She sang in a Blues Band in and around Ft. Worth, Texas while earning a Marketing Degree from T.C.U. On stage, Rebecca is best known for her roles in Evita and Jekyll & Hyde. Booked right out of college at the acclaimed Music Theatre of Wichita as Peron’s Mistress, she followed with a year’s tour of Europe in the same role, soon playing the title role. As one of the youngest actresses to ever perform the role of Eva Peron, Rebecca received standing ovations and critical acclaim throughout the continent. Most recently, she appeared in Los Angeles in the title role of Lucy in Jekyll & Hyde, receiving a Robby Award nomination. She has also played title roles in Gypsy, Bye, Bye Birdie, Arsenic and Old Lace, Personals, Grease, and You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown. For the past several years, Rebecca has been performing her own Acte consisting of concert and cabaret, which include Broadway, Blues, Popular, and Country for various cruise lines throughout North & South America, Hawaii, Scandinavia, the Caribbean and Mediterranean.
