JAMES RIPP BIO
Pianist / Acoustic Guitarist, Jim Ripp has been playing music since the age of 2. He has become a well known musician and entertainer on the Madison WI, and Wisconsin Dells music scene. From playing solo piano at various clubs, hotels and restaurants to performing Duo with his wife Rana to his live shows with his band “The Beatnix”, Jim covers a wide variety of music styles and genres that captivate any audience including; Classical, Jazz, Blues, Rock, Pop and Alternative. Jim and his band have opened shows for Ernie Isley, Kurt Newman and Leon Russel. Covered Artists and styles include, Billy Joel, Elton John, Mark Cohn, James Taylor, George Winston, and a wide variety of Blues, Rock and Pop Artists.
