This is Rodger''s second project. His first CD "It''s a new Day" was released in 1997 at which time he received airplay at most of the radio stations in his home province of Newfoundland & Labrador as well pockets of radio stations accross Canada, the USA and several European Countries, the same can be said about latest CD "Captive to the Sea" except even more Airplay.
This time around he is using a more of an acoustic sound but still a good variety.
His sister Juanita Rowsell Martin joins him on this project adding her unique and powerful vocals with two tracks of her own and some back-up vocals.
