The Swedish band Taikes (pronounced tykes or tikes, with a silent e) plays grunge with a touch of emo. The band has made great progress in Swedish independent and underground scenes and has made two tours in Mexico, playing at many different clubs and venues. The trio consists of Johan - guitar and vocals, Alex - bass, and Oskar - drums.
There is no doubt that there is something special about Taikes'' music. Influenced by the raw, sarcastic appearances of Nirvana and the melodic, emotional parts of Placebo and Muse, the songs are quite special. Listen for yourself.
