Magazine, Music Connection, One Way, 944, Troubadour, Shake, NPR, Adelphia, Time Warner, Cox, and on page ONE of 8 million "Bridgets" on Google, Bridget Brigitte is a premier voice of her generation. Her debut CD "Where Birds Meet in the Rain" (ASCAP) was recorded by engineers for Jewel and Blink 182 (Bionic Sisters Productions). A prolific songwriter, she performs all original tunes on guitar/harp/piano and people compare her to Joni Mitchell. Among other venues, she has performed at Lava Lounge, Cat Club, First Night, Virgin, Humphrey''s and Hard Rock Café LA (US), The Anchor (Canada), Slattery’s, The Chancery Pub (Ireland), Le Duplex, and Blues Etc. (France) and was featured in the World Fusion Divas Concert Series in Hollywood as well as in GIRL and Tsunami (both covered by ABC). She is a 2003 Call to Arts Creative Vision Song Contest winner, a 2004 LA Music Award nominee, 2005 Women''s International Center Spirit Award winner, 2006 Living Legacy Award Honoree, and her music videos are shown in the Payne County Film Festival (TV 33, cable 3) and on Access Central TV (Time Warner). She is a regular TV guest on the Shemm Show (Adelphia, Comcast) and has aired her own Bridget Brigitte TV Special on Cox Cable networks. The San Diego Reader writes that "Bridget’s singing is a cross between Janis Ian and Jill Sobule." In 2003/2004 she averaged 80 performances a year and organized regular music shows involving more than 200 original songwriters in San Diego. She has lent her musical talents to help these organizations among others: The Grammy’s MusiCares, GoGirlsMusic, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Vietnamese American Women Artists, National Breast Cancer Foundation, Artivist Independent Film Collective, and Artists Helping Artists.
