The self-titled CD, Deirdre, includes the song "Hey Mama," which inspired a call from Ben Fong-Torres inviting Deirdre personally to be one of the first few independent artists included in the early launch of Myplay. Some liken Deirdre''s style of music to a cross between Sarah McLaughlin and Janis Joplin (at her sweetest).
