FROM SONGWRITER BILL ROAM

-I came to Christ three years ago and He has delivered me from a hard life of addiction to drugs and alcohol and anything else that took me out of me. The Lord has filled the emptyness in my heart. He sent the Holy Spirit down to me to guide me to write these songs to spread the word and message of Total Grace. I guess you could say this is His ministry. The CD Shape My Life features 15 songs released on April 1, 2007. We appreciate everyone''s patience as this project took longer than expected. I love my new life in Christ. Three years ago I worked three jobs, stole, cheated, and lied to stay high. Now I spend my money to fund my dream and my ministry. What an amazing God I serve.

ABOUT LEAD SINGER KEITH GARNER

Keith Garner started his formal musical training at the age of 4 with
Susan Spataro and studied with her until 1998. Susan learned early on
that she had her hands full with Garner as she realized that he was
not reading musical notes but playing pieces by ear. Not only that,
he rearranged most of the assigned music to fit his own style. Rather
than battle the inevitable, they had an agreement that Keith would
play the piece properly and was then allowed to rearrange the music to
fit his whims. Sue also taught Keith how to use the synthesizer and
record and arrange music with multiple instruments. In 1998 Keith
studied with Brian Hinkleman learning to formally write music and
compose.
Garner was inspired to write and play by a close family friend,
Theresa Ganter, who encouraged him to "brighten her day". Garner''s
first opportunity to play piano solo for an audience other than
recitals was for his 6th grade graduation from elementary school. He
was successful with the event and this encouraged Keith to participate
in stage band during his middle school years. In 9th grade Garner was
elected president of Unami Middle School. In lieu of a farewell
speech, he composed and performed a solo piano arrangement for his
class which brought a standing ovation. As president of his class for
all three years in high school, Garner continued to perform vocally
and instrumentally to much acclaim and praise culminating with an
original composition for the senior class graduation. During the
summer of 2001 Garner recorded his 2nd CD. Keith attended James
Madison University for one semester as a music major before being
recruited to tour with the band "Georgia Avenue" as keyboard player
and backup vocalist. During the time that Garner toured with Georgia
Avenue he also helped record and compose for the band. Towards the
end of summer of 2002, Garner returned home for a weekend and found his grandmother weak and ill. With his family far away, Keith alone
stayed by her side as she passed away. During that fall, Garner
returned home after the tragedy and worked as a waiter while attending Bucks County Community College for the next year but continued to play
for local events.
On October 25th, while still enrolled in school, Garner was involved
in a serious car accident and was rushed to the trauma unit of
Abington Memorial Hospital as a level 1 with a crushed skull. Upon
arrival, Garner unexpectedly survived surgery and was placed on a
ventilator. The prognosis was not good and the Garner family waited.
All through those long days and nights in ICU the staff of Abington
ICU constantly played Billy Joel CDs and Garner''s own CD encouraging him to respond. One of his first actions was when he hummed to the
music. After 1 month in intensive care, Garner was sent to Moss
Rehabilitation Center. He had suffered loss of sight in his right
eye, hearing in the right ear and was told that due to the area of
the brain injury, he would probably never again regain his ability to
sing, play by ear or especially to compose music again. At Moss,
Garner started the long road to regain all that he had lost. He would
re-learn balance, coordination, thought processes and eventually be
able to walk, focus with one eye, and become self-sufficient again.
Even though the doctors were skeptical, Garner started to work at the
piano whenever he had the opportunity. Through an endless support
group of dedicated doctors, hospital staff, friends and family, Garner
battled back and shared his experience by writing the song Miracle.
Garner returned to school in 2005 but is presently working full time
to fund the completion of his third CD.
