A wide range of musical influences
Vocalist Alex Fieiras formed the four member group in 2001. Each member comes from a starkly different musical background including classical, hard rock, and even folk. Albums played in the Kingfinger tour van may include Radiohead, Queens of the Stone Age, Tool, Missy Elliot, Finger 11, U2, and Elton John! This amalgam of influence lends itself to uniquely powerful and interesting rock and roll reminiscent of U2, Queens of the Stone Age, Nick Café, and the Doors.
A year in Los Angeles
Reviews of "Letters From Earth" have been raving. With local success under their belt, a serious career in music on their mind, Kingfinger re-located to Los Angeles. There they quickly developed a strong following with numerous live shows at legendary clubs such as the Viper Room, Whisky a go-go, and The House of Blues. Signing a recording deal with independent label Fe records lead to the up coming release of Kingfinger''s latest album "Love Change" and a regional tour.
