...He folded the note and hesitantly slid it into the crack, finding a nice nook/crannie/niche whatever you want to call a small uneven space betwixt crumbling bits of concrete, the mundane and common processed wood pulp now comfortably nestled in its new home, in... The Wall.
Well, it was over, and for years those moments stuck in his head, for it isn''t every day that you write a personal note to God telling him you don''t believe in his existence. Yes, yes, we all realize the irony of the aforementioned statement - telling someone or more to the point, the supposed almighty king of the universe - you don''t believe in him... ahem, ahem well, you get the point.

To become representative of his quixotic nature, yes, that''s what we could say it was, a symbol, of what was to transpire over the next twenty years. Life was, is, but perhaps will not always be, a quest, for, shall we say, well, for each of us probably has a different holy grail. So after classical piano lessons as a child, off to college where the philosophical implications of existence came crashing down, choking and strangling the heart.
Work? Don''t want none of that...Family, who gives a crap...when your mind is warping the perceptive physical arena that appears before you , fantastic images and sounds dance in your head, and you zap, squirm, cajole, and see images filtered from altered orgasmic experiences squishing and churning in your head, you really don''t give much thought to who''s gonna do your taxes, or other plebeian thoughts (except where''s the best place to get a cheesteak with mushrooms). Staring into the mirror and physically warping your face waiting for some fantasmaplamorphic answer to suddenly arise, zap, and enlighten your cerebrum is no way to prepare for your next organic chemistry exam.

Aaaah, how the universe, in its inimitably evil warped sense of humor, knows exactly what to do. Put a guitar into your hands, handing you your next scene/act in the drama of your ridiculous life, is what it did. And boy did this kid wrap his hands around this wooden slab with cat whiskers and go at it. We''re talkin wham bam zoom ba da baaa... It was off to the races, practicin, practicing forget goin to med school, sheeeeiiiit... But then, the universe, ever so clever, stuck another evil thought into his head.
At about the time that music really started percolating, the philosophical angst got so bad that meditation and spiritual pursuits got a strangle hold on young skywalker. Flinging the guitar into the corner, young Greg left his weeping girlfriend, drove cross country to be with his new beloved, a Gandhi like Indian Guru with an ashram north of San Francisco. After 3 years of intense blah blah blah blah blaaaaaah, the anxiety wrecked kid decided to follow his similarly screwed friend to India, land of the sadhu, home of the thalis

Backpackin on his own like a cool mofo'' and havin the adventure of a lifetime, our little Greg ended up in the arm''s of a new beloved, spelled T-H-A-I-L-A-N-D. IIt was in the south, on a steamy equatorial afternoon, that a crinkly old Thai foodcart owner bestowed upon our hero the name Lek, creating a stirring in the universe, not to mention making it a huge bit easier for our Thai friends not having to pronounce the linguistically challenging word ''Greg''. Several months later, the music bug bit Lek again, and so he strode back to the grand ole USA to finally get his first rock band goin. It lasted a few years, with a few good jams, and a few good shows, and a whole lotta good songs, but in the end, wasn''t quite the right lineup. So here we are now, with LEK fiercely writing new songs, still travellin around the world. Having taught himself the hard way to become an audio engineer, Lek is recording his songs and preparing to take the world by storm.

Look out soon for many more CD''s to come, for Lek has written hundreds of songs yet unreleased! And do make sure to join the email list for Lek will be playing his acoustic songs hopefully at a venue near you! Partake in the wild and quirky world of Lek and get a break from the mass of crap being forced upon the general public! If you''ve yearned for music with real character that comes straight from the heart and wild personal experiences, check this music out!
