Ady Ellis : Electric and acoustic guitars , bass , drums and engineering / production.
Clive Haynes : Keyboards, acoustic and spanish guitars , programming.
Martin Nash : Lyrics / poetry, vocals , bass and sound effects.
Where did it all start ?
From a chance meeting in 1999, Ady Ellis ( A guitarist with no lyrics ) and Martin Nash ( A lyricist with no guitarist ! ) became great friends over a bottle of Jack Daniels whilst discussing , music, art and poetry.
The combined skills of the new friends very quickly bore a wonderous fruit. Classic songs appeared as if by magic , everything was dropping into place !
With so many different influences the pair would go on to produce a wide variation in styles , from the extremely powerful Blackmore-inspired rock song to the Morrissey-driven lyrically-emotional ballad via Ady''s classically driven guitar work through to Martin''s sometimes surreal lyrics.
The original duo produced well over a hundred songs in various home recording setups before the valuable addition of Clive Haynes , another guitarist with keyboard and midi-programming experience . Martin and Clive had known each other since teenage years and were in a band together in the 80''s. Pretty soon It was to be seen Clive''s true value as the songs became more and more cultured , now there were three great friends delivering great music in their new , purpose-built recording studio in St. James , Northampton, England…And this is where this album was conceived, written and produced using a mixture of digital and analogue equipment to add that extra warmth that digital alone cannot https://www.tradebit.com the album artwork was produced by Martin Nash in his art studio also in Northampton. This is the first album but it won’t stop there , the second album is well under way with some intuitive material in progress with a slightly more aggressive rock edge… Not a diversion for us , more a development of ideas… Watch this space we aren’t finished here !
