Shawanna , singer and song writer was born and raised in Cleveland, Oh. with deep southern roots. Her musical foundation was laid long before she was born coming from a family of singers. Her beautiful mother ignited a love of music in her and at the early age of 5 years old she began her lifes journey singing for the Lord. Shawanna’s foundation was further developed growing up singing in church choirs and groups. That spawned various other musical ventures some of which include: Lead vocalists in church choirs, background vocalist for Hubbard Brothers Family and Friends Praise Fest, Iva Kennedy which included doing vocals for recording artist Rodney Posey, Thomas Dorsey National Convention of Gospel Choirs and Chorus, Leonard Burks and the Voices of Praise. She has also had the privilege of serving as a choir directress for several churches as well as a praise and worship team leader. She has also been involved in a number of community theater projects. To God be the glory for the things he has done and continuing to do in her life.
