Booker T. Wiggins, Jr. without a doubt has a unique sound and style that is destined to excite audiences and listeners all over the world. The music has the sound of hip-hop gospel at times and then smooth and mellow and flows like a ballad written by Luther Vandross, but with the strength and conviction of the Winans. The thirty-seven old minister has composed this project with 15 songs and with a wide variety of textures from traditional gospel, to gospel rap and mellow instrumentals that remind you of the smooth sounds of Ben Tankard. Wiggins believes if you have a message that you want to sing unto God, and it is scripturally sound you should make a joyful noise unto the Lord.

Booker T. Wiggins, Jr. was Born and raised in the Kinston, N.C., by his mother and father Rev. and Mrs. Booker T. Wiggins, Sr. at five years old he performed his first original composition called little clown with a tune similar to twinkle - twinkle little star at a backyard show with the neighborhood kids. Booker''s father was a member of the Wiggins Gospelaires, which traveled and performed for many years and Booker''s mother has played the piano and worked diligently with local church choirs. Booker has had an interest in music since young in life, and received the Perry- Rhem award in the area of fine arts in High School, under the direction of Mrs. Wynona Epps in the area of performing arts.

He wrote an original composition Fire Fighters of KFD, which was performed, live on local television station, and he also has appeared on crime stoppers telethon. Wiggins has made several appearances on the local television show "Awaken," and has written the theme song for a local television special called "Doing Homework" produced by his sister Darlene Wiggins Dockery. Wiggins has also co- produced the latest project featuring his farther singing and arrangement of "I''m Too Close To Heaven To turn Around" with Raymond Starkey. Wiggins has work long and untiring on his new project Born Again and after listening you can feel the love of God that has been placed in his heart and converted into lyrics with his own artistic approach.

Booker is a minister and speaks at Greater St. Paul Holy Church were his father is the pastor. Booker and his wife DeeMost live in Raleigh N.C. and they have three Children. Tramarcus, Tatum, Phillip.
