Details:
This is a band that succeeds in embodying all the best parts of being a rock band. The songs are stories. The music is raw and dynamic. Their commanding stage presence led by a voice that is part primal scream and soulful swagger captivates audiences. This is Steve Robinson and The Foundation.

The son of an Air force officer and sixties touring R&B guitarist and Grandson to famous Vaudevillian and Chicago Folk Music hall of fame inductee Jesse Olden Cryor sets the bar high for Steve Robinson. Recording and producing the band''s albums is the way Steve Robinson lives up to the family tradition. Touring the Midwest and the Northwest Steve and his band earned a following of eclectic fans. Steve is set to release his new album ''Hello from the Up-Down Room.'' on Mushroom Cloud Records. Steve will be touring in support of the new record and label in 2007.
The Foundation has had many incarnations since it’s inception in 2001. Steve had envisioned the members being able to come and go as they pleased to keep the performances fresh. Steve took some time off to record with a Rick Rubin produced project To My Surprise. Now Steve is back with new music accompanied by enigmatic drummer Swiggz. His drumming is controlled explosions of time with an authoritative grasp on what it takes to wrangle in Steve''s emotionally charged songs. On bass, Greg H. possesses the uncanny ability of bringing to life the essence of Motown bass lines that move the music effortlessly from remorse-ladened songs to jubilant numbers and back again. The band toured as a trio for some time until English-born guitarist Ricc Terranova joined the group. Ricc’s empathetic approach to music was the shot in arm Steve was looking for.
The US tour slated to start in the summer of ’07 to support the album’s US and European distribution. Look for Steve Robinson and The Foundation to be in your area bringing their dynamic, emotionally charged music and stage show with them.
